We were engaged by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), an organisation that handles Taiwan’s music export development, to manage local publicity in Indonesia for three Taiwanese acts that were making their debut in the country during AXEAN Festival 2024, a showcase festival that was taking place in Bali. While the three acts, The Dinosaur’s Skin, The Chairs and i’mdifficult, were all popular bands back home, they were practically newcomers to the non-Chinese speaking Indonesian audience. Working with local partners, we successfully introduced the acts to the Indonesian media scene and music lovers. We also held a press conference in Denpasar during the festival for local media to come face-to-face with these bands and get to know them better.
